We observe a church bench in flames. It confronts a scene of Faith succumbing to human shortsightedness. The intention is to prompt the observer to feel like one of the many possible individuals who could have shared the memory of an episode. It questions a physical entity (the church bench) that serves as a spiritual connection and a symbolic element of communal participation.
